Carlos Almaraz

Carlos D. Almaraz, a Mexican-American artist and a trailblazer of the Chicano art movement, co-founded the Centro de Arte Público, a Chicano arts collective based in Highland Park, Los Angeles. During my graphic design internship at the Vincent Price Art Museum (VPAM), I had the honor of curating and designing the theme for the Carlos Almaraz exhibition. This experience allowed me to deeply explore his vibrant culture and distinctive art style, bringing his work to life in a new and impactful way.
